Emmanuella & Maria: poetry meets fashion design
"clothes, like architecture and art reflect an era" Azzedine Alaia
Women have always been seen either as a representation of the Virgin Mary (Mother of God) or as Emmanuelle (object of desire). Can both co-exist? Emmanuelle and Maria is a common project, an event, combining poetry and fashion.
Dimitria's clothes provide both elegance and comfort, giving the possibility to women to be both Emmanuelle and Maria.
For the last 5 years, Stavroula’s poetry is expressed in a Cross Art approach. In a “cross art” project each part (the content and the media) can either be separately or globally identified. Each part can have a completely separate existence but the equation can only be solved when all pieces of the puzzle fit in together.
